What IP or innovation? Apple did not invent multi-touch or touch based graphical user interfaces. Nor did it invent gesture based UI either, nor the tablet form-factor. Nor did it come up with little square icons representing apps. Nokia has had those for ages.

You don't need the phone to store a year's worth of location data in order for the service provider or emergency rescue to pinpoint the phone's current location.

Reading comprehension. Take out the comma and the word "composted" and it would read "Earth Day co-founder killed girlfriend". The comma basically takes the place of the word "then" in this case, which indicates a sequence.

"The Force" was cute but my favorite was the Pepsi commerical where the guy's girl friend, while trying to hit him, accidentally hits the girl on the park bench on the head with the soda can.

In the situation discussed in the article (a governing body "turning off the internet") access to the internet is a right and not a privilege.

I agree with Robert-2589118. The ability to communicate is a human right. Technology changes and the methods used to communicate evolve but the right remains.

American Express has never let me down. ATA stranded me at Midway on a flight back to Phoenix from NYC back in 2004 and told me to fend for myself.
